Get OpenDojo & load drills
Drills on GiantDojo are made for OpenDojo, a free Tekken 8 practice-mode
tool. It lets you save, share, and reload practice-mode recordings as portable
.drill.txt files. Install it once, then load any drill you download here.
OpenDojo ships as a single file named dinput8.dll that Tekken auto-loads on
launch.
-
Grab the latest
dinput8.dllfrom the OpenDojo releases page. -
Drop it into Tekken’s
Win64folder, next toPolaris-Win64-Shipping.exe:<SteamLibrary>\steamapps\common\TEKKEN 8\Polaris\Binaries\Win64\dinput8.dll
- Launch the game normally. That’s it.
To uninstall, just delete dinput8.dll. On first save, OpenDojo creates an
opendojo/ folder in that same directory where your drills, autosaves, and
config live.
- Browse the community drills (or a character’s Drills tab).
- Open a drill and click Download to save its
.drill.txtfile. -
Move that file into your
opendojo/folder (next todinput8.dll, inside theWin64directory).
- Launch Tekken 8 and start a practice match.
-
Press
[on keyboard (orBack + Yon controller) to open the OpenDojo overlay menu. - On the Drills tab, find your drill. Use Add to load it into empty recording slots, or Replace to clear all slots and load it.
- Close the menu and start drilling against the recordings.
A drill holds up to 8 recordings. The drill list filters to the CPU character you’re practicing against by default; toggle “Show all” to see everything.
