Get OpenDojo & load drills

Drills on GiantDojo are made for OpenDojo, a free Tekken 8 practice-mode tool. It lets you save, share, and reload practice-mode recordings as portable .drill.txt files. Install it once, then load any drill you download here.

Get OpenDojo

1. Install the mod

OpenDojo ships as a single file named dinput8.dll that Tekken auto-loads on launch.

  1. Grab the latest dinput8.dll from the OpenDojo releases page.
  2. Drop it into Tekken’s Win64 folder, next to Polaris-Win64-Shipping.exe:
    <SteamLibrary>\steamapps\common\TEKKEN 8\Polaris\Binaries\Win64\dinput8.dll
  3. Launch the game normally. That’s it.

To uninstall, just delete dinput8.dll. On first save, OpenDojo creates an opendojo/ folder in that same directory where your drills, autosaves, and config live.

2. Download a drill from GiantDojo
  1. Browse the community drills (or a character’s Drills tab).
  2. Open a drill and click Download to save its .drill.txt file.
  3. Move that file into your opendojo/ folder (next to dinput8.dll, inside the Win64 directory).
3. Load it in-game
  1. Launch Tekken 8 and start a practice match.
  2. Press [ on keyboard (or Back + Y on controller) to open the OpenDojo overlay menu.
  3. On the Drills tab, find your drill. Use Add to load it into empty recording slots, or Replace to clear all slots and load it.
  4. Close the menu and start drilling against the recordings.

A drill holds up to 8 recordings. The drill list filters to the CPU character you’re practicing against by default; toggle “Show all” to see everything.
