About GiantDojo

GiantDojo is a community-built guide site for Tekken 8, created by player Giant Duck. It pairs hand-written character overviews and combo tips with full, sortable frame data and curated video guides.

How it’s built

Frame data is adapted from numerous community sources, including WavuWiki, then sourced and normalized by the sister project IronFrame and published to this site at build time. The site itself is a static Astro build with small React widgets for filtering and sorting.

Special thanks to Applay, whose Tekken 8 Library helped get this site’s reference info started.

Community Drills

The Community Drills feature lets players share practice-mode drills for OpenDojo, a free Tekken 8 practice-mode tool that saves and reloads recordings as portable .drill.txt files. GiantDojo hosts and indexes the drills; OpenDojo is a separate community project that does the in-game work. See the setup guide to get started.
